Carbohydrate Content Brown rice lacks the healthy carb in its content. The large portion of a brown rice is a whole grain. White rice varieties such as Jasmine and basmati have high content of carb.

Simple Way to Cook Crock Pot Chicken and Brown Rice for dogs


  • 2 cups of brown rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • Raw sweet potato
  • Sliced carrots
  • 4 Boneless chicken thighs without skin


  1. Place all the ingredients in the crock pot.
  2. Cook for at least 3 hours on low heat flames.
  3. After three hours, remove the crock pot from the flames and allow it to cool.
  4. Stir the content of the crock pit well and then break up the chicken into small pieces.
  5. Serve the food to your dog.
  6. Ensure that you serve the right quantity, depending on your dog’s weight or its normal ratio.
